Festivals
At our school, festivals are more than just celebrations—they are opportunities to instil values of unity, respect, and cultural appreciation. We embrace the diversity of traditions by celebrating a wide range of festivals with enthusiasm and inclusivity. Through vibrant performances, traditional music and dance, storytelling, art, and culinary experiences, students immerse themselves in the essence of each festival. These celebrations not only strengthen bonds among students, educators, and parents but also nurture a sense of belonging, respect for different cultures, and the joy of togetherness.
Anand Utsav
Anand Utsav is a theme-based annual project culmination, bringing together a vibrant blend of presentations, creative displays, artistic masterpieces, role plays, dance performances, thematic decorations, and food stalls. This month-long celebration, held every April, immerses students in experiential learning as they explore various places related to the chosen theme.
Adding to the festivity, cultural evenings are organised every Saturday, featuring drama performances, “Ek Shaam Parents Ke Naam,” and musical events, creating unforgettable memories for students and their families.
Culmination
True learning is reflected in one’s ability to articulate knowledge with confidence. When children can express and explain what they have absorbed, it signifies the success of their learning journey. To reinforce this, an Annual Culmination event is organised for students from Nursery to Grade 4, where each child showcases their learning through an individual presentation, celebrating their growth and achievements.
Project Manager
At Anand Niketan Shilaj, we empower students to take charge, think critically, and lead with confidence. A Project Manager is selected through a rigorous interview process, assessing leadership, creativity, and teamwork.
The chosen student oversees planning, coordination, and execution, ensuring seamless project management. A prime example is the Annual Concert, where they develop the theme, craft the script, and lead their team to deliver a spectacular event. This experience fosters independence, resilience, and real-world leadership skills.
Farewell party
The Farewell Party for our Grade 12 Students is a momentous occasion, honouring their journey and achievements. It is a night filled with heartfelt emotions, laughter, and lasting memories. The evening unfolds with electrifying dance performances, engaging games, and a special tribute—a thoughtfully curated presentation by Grade 11 students, capturing the most cherished moments of their seniors’ school years. As the celebration reaches its peak with a lively DJ session and a grand dinner, the event serves as a powerful reminder that while one chapter closes, a new and exciting journey awaits.
A Best Wishes Party
A Best Wishes Party is a heartfelt tradition organised for the students of Standard 10 as they prepare for their board exams. The 9th Standard students express their support and encouragement by presenting beautifully handcrafted best wishes cards to their seniors. The celebration is filled with warmth, motivation, and camaraderie, creating lasting memories for both grades. The event concludes with a sumptuous lunch, symbolising good fortune and a positive start to their next journey.
