ANSH - Parliament

Empowering Leaders, Inspiring Change

The ANSH Parliament, established in 2012, is a dynamic student-led body designed to nurture leadership, responsibility, and service. It provides students with a platform to voice concerns, initiate change, and contribute meaningfully to the school community. Through structured councils, students develop organisational skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, shaping them into confident and responsible global citizens.

Our Councils & Their Roles

Cultural Council – Celebrating Creativity & Identity

Aims to foster artistic expression, traditions, and school spirit through:

  • School Events & Inter-house Competitions – Planning and execution
  • Assembly Ushering – Organising seamless daily gatherings
  • Annual Concert – Showcasing student talent and teamwork
  • Sports Meet – Coordinating school-wide athletic events
  • Teacher’s Day Celebrations – Expressing gratitude through well-orchestrated programmes

Grievance Council – Advocating for Student Welfare

Dedicated to addressing concerns and ensuring a safe, supportive environment by:

  • Managing Lost & Found services
  • Collecting student concerns and feedback
  • Supervising repairs & maintenance for a well-kept campus
  • Preventing & addressing bullying-related issues
  • Providing a channel for teacher-student communication & resolution

ANSH Connect – Bridging School & Community

Enhancing school engagement through guest relations, event management, and public speaking by:

  • Ushering & welcoming guests during events
  • Coordinating campus visits & field trips
  • Leading anchoring & event hosting
  • Inviting dignitaries & special speakers

Systems Council – Upholding Discipline & School Values

Ensuring smooth daily operations and instilling self-discipline by managing:

  • Arrival & Dispersal procedures
  • General Discipline & English-speaking etiquette
  • Uniform adherence, bag checks, and personal grooming
  • Sambodhan – Encouraging respectful & ethical interactions
  • Walking in Line – Ensuring order in school movement

Grace Council – Instilling Mindfulness & Service

Promoting values, sustainability, and well-being through:

  • Mindful Lunch & Breakfast habits
  • Samarpan Initiatives – Encouraging community service
  • Monitoring food wastage & sustainable practices
  • Soft Board Displays – Enhancing visual learning
  • Morning Prayer, Jogging & Yoga – Fostering mental & physical wellness
